Indulge me with a little history: in the winter of 1982, together with my brother, Greg, I began a small landscape business. It was a humble beginning. We worked out of the garage of our parents’ Oak Park home and used a 1973 Buick to move supplies. A year later we professionally parted ways and I began to form Four Seasons Garden Center and Custom Landscape Services. I had a big vision. Since then the scope of the business has changed dramatically. We now have locations in Birmingham, Traverse City, and Oak Park. But even as we have grown, I understand the benefits of being a small company with big ideas.
Small is Good
Being a small landscape company has its benefits. We are agile, able to change directions at a moment’s notice to better serve our clients. But we are large enough to attract the best candidates, people who are serious about what they do and are professional in their approach and deliver on their promises. That allows us to be able to maintain a talented and experienced design staff. Our creative and hardworking designers manage each project from concept to completion.
Large is Good, Too!
We are large enough to answer when you call. We aren’t just a post office box, a guy with a laptop and a cell phone. Our experienced office staff can handle your questions and concerns and give you direction. You will only get voice mail after hours. We are here when you call.
A Part of Something Larger
We are a part of the communities we serve. The success and careful management of Four Seasons Garden Center and Custom Landscape Services allows us to support local schools, charities, and faith based groups across Oakland County. We are privileged to be able to do this year after year, for 35 years!
If there is a landscape project in your future, our history and client testimonials prove it: We love to dig in the dirt!
