We used Four Seasons for our backyard landscaping design project. Megan was very informative and a pleasure to work with. Communication was great and everything went smoothly. Ivan & Joshua worked hard for two days to complete our project. They did everything perfectly and cleaned up like they were never here! Ivan even brought up our recycle can. We received watering instructions and will have final care instruction meeting next week.

Our Design Process
Our process is the same for a simple front landscape or a multi-phase project with extensive hardscaping and outdoor living space:
When you become our client, one of our designers will meet with you at the site and walk the property with you to learn how you wish to use the space, your preferences, and expectations. We ask that all decision-makers be present so that everyone’s input is heard. At the first meeting your designer will take measurements and pictures of the existing landscape and your home.
After taking into consideration your input, the architecture of your home, and sight lines from the home s/he will prepare a landscape plan for your approval. If there are changes to be made, we tweak the plan until it is just what you are looking for and then prepare for your custom installation.

Garden Center
In our 40-year history, Four Seasons Garden Center and Custom Landscape Services has always been a flexible, agile company. We respond to trends whether they are in new plant material, design trends, or business trends. In response to an ever-growing demand for our custom landscape designs and installation, the Garden Center has undergone some changes in recent years.
The Garden Center temporarily closed in 2020, with an intention to reopen. However, as requests for our landscape design/build expertise has increased we have expanded every year into, not only the Garden Center space, but into offices in Birmingham and Traverse City, as well.
For decades the Garden Center represented the best in products and services for the DIY’er in all of us. We hosted a multitude of seminars, hands-on demonstrations, festivals, BBQ’s, and pumpkin bowling! We enjoyed having generations of regular customers join us and tell us stories of their regular visits to the Garden Center. Or how they would travel from their new homes, for miles to get quality plants for their gardens and friendly advice from the knowledgeable staff.
