About The Project

This project was for a returning client who moved into a larger home in Bloomfield Hills. The clients wanted to transform the existing inground pool and surrounding patio area. They were excited to have us transform this space after working with us at their former home.

The project required Senior Landscape Designer and Project Manager Lynn Cavanaugh to lean on her strong time management skills to keep the projects on track. She also needed to collaborate with several partners. Lynn worked closely with a local pool company and a carpenter while adhering to the city's strict permit regulations.

The original pool coping and surrounding patio needed to be updated, and the clients wanted a new look. They love entertaining and spending as much time in the pool during the summer as possible and wanted to be in a space that brings them joy. Lynn designed a more modern large slab look with a black pool coping. The result was dramatic and instantly updated the backyard into a modern-day paradise.
