Our Story
In the winter of 1982, brothers Greg and Glen Goldberg formed Goldy’s Landscaping, working out of the garage of their Oak Park home and using a 1973 Buick to move supplies. A year passed and the brothers professionally parted ways with Glen going on to form Four Seasons Garden Center and Custom Landscape Services.
Ten years of hard work and beautiful landscaping later, the legendary Four Seasons Garden Center opened in our current location on 11 Mile Road in Oak Park. Praiseworthy reviews and referrals steadily grew the business, and in 2004 we opened the doors of our design studio in Birmingham. In 2011, we established the Traverse City branch of the business, bringing our passion for design and love of landscaping to northern Michigan.

Community Involvement
We are and have always been a community-focused business, taking great pride in supporting the wonderful people and organizations of the areas in which we work and live.
We have been privileged to partner with and provide for over 30 local schools, local first responders, and non-profits including HAVEN and Forgotten Harvest.
We also find great reward in maintaining many local community gardens including the Berkley Library.
