This family gave us a blank canvas on which to create. The backyard had grass and a play structure, and… that was about it. But as a family with growing children they wanted a functional entertainment space. The goal was to create a space that maximized the backyard to accommodate family, friends, and neighbors.
The result put the “fun” into functional. The new outdoor room was designed with plenty of cabinet storage, ample space for cooking, dining, and entertaining. The design offers multiple places to gather, room to spread out, and lots of seating. The pleasing finishes add to the overall allure and warmth of the space.
