A recent home renovation project left this spacious, tree-filled lot all-but-destroyed. The first phase of the project began in fall with a new front landscape and walk. The following spring we returned to create an outdoor room as reflective of this active family as the new inside renovations had been. With active children involved in sports the area had to be expansive, with plenty of room for parties. The challenges included significant grade changes, drainage problems, and the creation of a long-term plan that could accommodate future buildings, a pool, and hot tub. Project management was a key factor in the successful completion of the new outdoor room. Coordinating plumbers, electricians, and other tradesmen was critical to the timeline. But the results are worth it! The family now has a large entertaining area perfectly suited to their active lives.
“We proposed several options for the wall material, but ultimately the natural stone wall was best suited to the design. Our client is so pleased with the outcome.”
