Meet Alexandra Hossfeld
Alexandra Hossfeld joined Four Seasons Garden Center & Custom Landscape Services two years ago and has been creating exceptional landscape design projects since her first day.
Alexandra’s degree in Landscape Architecture allows her to take on more challenging design builds. Alexandra says she decided to pursue a career in the green industry because of the excitement of her summer job.
“When I was in university, I struggled with leaving my summer job as a gardener to return to study political science in the fall, so I decided to switch my major to landscape architecture.”
After numerous years working as a landscape architect, she decided she was ready for a change, “I worked at an engineering firm for many years as a landscape architect and arborist and decided I wanted to focus on design at a more refined scale. “I feel much more fulfilled as a landscape designer as I aim to curate components of outdoor living space vs. more top-down master planning like in my previous workplaces.”

Creating A Dream Outdoor Space
What Alexandra loves most about her role at Four Seasons is being able to help homeowners create their outdoor dream space. “I enjoy the fulfillment of transforming a tired yard into a new and functional outdoor experience.” Some of her favorite transformations have included adding an outdoor kitchen to a new build in Bloomfield Hills. She also loves designing fire pits, which create a great outdoor entertainment space for
her clients.
